Enpatuwaa - Roasted tilapia

Ingredients:
 
2 big fresh tilapia fish
2 onions
1 garlic clove
1 peeled ginger
citron
1 Tsp salt
20 ml tabasco sauce
20 ml soja sauce
20 ml olive oil

 

 

Clean the fish and drain it on a kitchen paper. With a sharp knife, make 3 deep equal cuts on both sides of the fish. Blend the onions, garlic, ginger, citron, tabasco sauce, soja sauce, salt and olive oil. Place each fish on a aluminium foil and spread the mixture equally on both sides of the fish and the inside of the fish. Close the aluminium foil carefully and on a baking pan, bake the fish at about 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. Serve with banku, rice, potatoes, yam, etc.
